into the eyes of a 10 year old

Looking into the eyes of a 10 year old is like looking into the eye of a storm…er…hurricane.

In the eye(of a hurricane), it is calm, peaceful, but you know the storm it not over yet.

In the eyes( of a 10 year old, it is calm, peacefu,l but you know the worse is yet to come.

I have officially hit the pre-teen years, and I’m scared!  Because paybacks are a bitch, as my mom has told me many times, and I’m starting to see what she meant.:)

the Korff family { Wayne family session}

I had a photo session with a beautiful family of 5 a couple of weeks ago.  We were fortunate to have a nice warm day in the middle of March.  I love when I have sessions of high energy kids…it makes it more fun!  Although parents would disagree because they stress.  They resort to bribery.  Which is a common tool used, most of the time, to have the kids sit still. But, let’s face it.  Kids don’t like to sit still.  They are more natural being themselves.  I love when kids are goofy…I love it when they just want to be silly and laugh.  This is when the pictures turn out the best.  I love it when parents say I’ll be happy with one good shot.  Well I can guarantee you, you will definitely get more then one photo from a session and it is well worth the price to document you family moments.  And this session with the Korff family was no exception!

Had a engagement  session back in the fall with this adorable couple.  They will be getting married June 30th in Philadelphia and I will be photographing their big day.  Looking forward to the warmer weather coming back.

the Hetrick family{Spring City family session}

I photographed this sweet family back in October the day of the freak snowstorm.   Their little one was only a month old.  He was so adorable and was a lover of the camera.  Of course, he would not fall asleep during our session.   We tried everything, but nothing.  Why would he.  There was too much going on between the lights, the big black object in front of his face and lets not go into the 3 adults trying to get his attention.  He eventually fell asleep, but that was after I packed up everything and was heading out the door. :)

Bychowsky{Collegeville maternity session}

This sweet mama and her adorable little boy invited me into their home to take some maternity photos to surprise her husband/his dad for Valentine’s day.  They are expecting a little girl next month and wanted to remember it in a special way.  Enjoy!
